ABOUT THE CLIENT/

Animal Rescues for Change is a nonprofit coalition and advocacy platform working toward systemic improvements in animal welfare across California. The organization brings together rescue groups, volunteers, experts, and supporters, highlights problems within municipal shelter systems, supports spay-and-neuter and veterinary assistance programs, conducts research, and advances legislative initiatives.

THE CHALLENGE/

The project required much more than a standard nonprofit website. A large and continuously growing volume of content had to be organized, including news, articles, research reports, survey results, legislative proposals, public campaigns, petitions, support programs, and participation resources.

Particular attention was required for complex navigation, publishing different types of content, integrating detailed surveys, engaging supporters, and creating a structure that the organization could continue expanding independently.

THE SOLUTION/

A scalable information and advocacy platform was developed in Wix Studio with carefully planned information architecture and several connected content-management systems.

Dedicated sections were created for support programs, public campaigns, policy and advocacy work, reports, survey results, news, articles, events, and supporter resources. A system of categories and tags was implemented to make a large volume of information easier to browse by topic and location.

Detailed surveys and data-collection forms were integrated alongside donation options, coalition membership forms, campaign participation tools, and resources for contacting elected representatives. The platform was structured to support continued growth without requiring the website to be manually rebuilt whenever a new initiative or content type is introduced.
